Do you charge hourly fees if I have questions or need help?

No, we never charge any extra fees for asking questions – in fact, we love getting questions! Unlimited support is included in every one of our plans and we always answer questions in about 1 business day or less.

What about my taxes?

We prepare easy to understand year end packages for you to pass along to your preferred tax preparer at year end with everything they need. If they have any questions or want anything updated in your books – we’ll happily update any information, enter any adjusting entries, and chat with them until your books are just how they like it! 

What is an account?

Accounts are defined as any account that contains business-related transactions such as a bank, credit card, virtual credit card, PayPal, merchant and payroll processors, loans, lines of credit, etc. 

Do you help with my bills, invoices, or payroll?

We do not offer any management of bills, invoices or payroll. However, we can recommend some great software such as, Freshbooks, and Gusto that help you manage your bills, invoices, and payroll. We can integrate with most 3rd party software and always use that data to add details into your financial records and reconcile all balances.

What if I am a little behind in my bookkeeping?

No problem, everyone gets behind sometimes. We offer quick and detailed catch-up bookkeeping solutions that will get you up to speed and running smoothly in no time.

What accounting software do you use?

We work with Quickbooks Online and Xero. We recommend these two because they are the most powerful double entry systems available today and they allow for easy access, imports, exports, and detailed reporting.

What is the difference between accrual and cash bookkeeping?

Cash bookkeeping only records money when it comes in or leaves the bank account. Accrual bookkeeping is much more accurate in that it records money when earned or owed. Most large companies use accrual and we always use accrual for all our clients from day one to better transition them as they grow!
